Description

Large Kitchen/Bakery in Clifton, New Jersey is seeking a Production Assistant Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading, and supporting all areas of production (Yeast Line, Cake Line, Bakery, Finishing, and Delivery) to produce, and deliver the required amount of product on schedule that meets or exceeds the Standards set by the company.

The Manager is leading, and managing a staff of team members

Corrects all improper work habits

Works with all employees to resolve conflicts

Keep plant clean, and sanitary. Communicates concerning work orders. Conducts meetings with employees.

Ensures all products are produced, and finished to specifications.

Executes Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)

Extensive knowledge of baking, and bakery

Good computer, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills

Must be flexible with hours, as this is a ROTATING SCHEDULE) START TIME IS 3:00 pm

THERE IS TRAINING IN SERV SAV, AND OTHER PROCEDURES.

You must be able to LIFT 50 - 60 lbs.

Salary range is: 30k -55k

Requirements

Experienced Production Manager is needed for large Kichen, and Bakery in Clifton, New Jersey.

Must have the ability to lead, and motivate the staff.

Must be able to weigh, and measure correctly. Must have basic Math, and Reading skills.

Good computer, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills.

Extensive knowledge of baking, and bakery

Minimum 3 years supervisory experience

Flexible hours, and rotating schedule

Lift 50 - 60 lbs.
