Work Location : Puchong, TPM , Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
* Overall management of the Accounting & Control function of the Group including accounting functions and monthly reporting of various subsidiaries;
* Produce the Group’s periodical financial statement including monthly Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position, Quarterly Bursa Announcement Reports on timely basis;
* Provide strategic financial input to business planning process including expansion plans;
* Handle all accounting & tax matters relating to expansion funding as well as treasury management
* To ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad listing requirements and other relevant regulatory requirements in relation to accounting, taxation and corporate matters
* Liaise with internal auditors, external auditors, statutory bodies, bankers, advisors, etc.;
* Ensure strict compliance with Company Laws;
* Ensure internal control system of the Group is being upheld, and upgraded in terms of cash control, stock control, and safeguard of the Group’s assets;
* Assessment of financial accounting reporting must be performed in compliance with relevant Financial Reporting Standards ;
* To evaluate, review and adopt the Accounting information system for efficient management reporting;
* To provide all form of quality, accurate and timely legal support, including the provision of legal advisory and legal documentation
* Participate in corporate planning processes, including long-term strategic planning and short-term tactical planning for the Group
* Coordinate the implementation and execution of corporate initiatives and exercises for the Group, including acquisitions, joint ventures, new business ventures and fund raising
Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent;
* Professional accounting qualifications (ICAEW / MICPA / ACCA / CPA / CFA) or recognized accounting degree and MIA registration;
* Professional qualifications will be an added advantage;
* At least 8 years of relevant working experience;
* Experience in PLC will be an advantage;
* Excellent attitude and perseverance to succeed;
* Good analytical skills to drive performance, proactive and take initiative, energetic, open minded and result driven;
* Good command of English & Malay – written & spoken;
* A team player with good management and leadership skills to inspire and motivate his/her team
